The UNITE Policy Conference 2014 is due to take place from 30 June - 4 July.
Every UNITE branch and constitutional committee is entitled to send in a motion to the policy conference. The deadline for getting your motion in is 14th February. If your committee isn't due to meet before then and hasn't had the opportunity to submit a motion, get on to your officer - a special meeting can be organised.
In drafting your motion, it's worth looking at what policies UNITE already has, so you aren't just repeating existing policy. Think about gaps in union policy that need filling, or policies you would like to change.
Once the motions are all in, constitutional committees (not branches) will have the opportunity to submit amendments between 17 March and 16 May.
